Bird's Eye View
It's easy to get stuck in the day-to-day minutia of the trenches. So let's stretch our wings and take to the air for a better view. Learning to read the landscape can make connections of the valleys, plateaus, and peaks in a topography that tells a bigger story. But even with the best view, flight can be a hairline balance. Winds aren't always conducive to soaring and all birds must return to earth in time. But even on the ground, knowledge gained from a different perspective can help remind us of the larger picture in life. Now I seek a wider horizon with new directions... Going for walks to breathe the spring air and watch the blooms pass from one plant to another as summer arrives. Building daily art practices into my schedule that help me experiment, play, and improve as an artist. Spending more time with family, enjoying nights out with friends, and looking for opportunities to participate in community. Speaking of community, I have several events coming up this summer, including the Summer Art Market this weekend of June 9th and 10th. It's the big art event of Denver, connecting a community where both artists and collectors grow together and thrive. I hope to reconnect with you too again soon; come soar with me! (PS, I still have cranes available, come get them before they fly away. One of the homes they migrate to could be yours!) |

Parting Lines | |
File this one under 'more wings.' Black vultures form Trinidad and Tobago, waiting on Grande Riviere beach for the leatherback turtles to dig up each other's eggs. I have several pages of studies from my travel photos. |
